I started in NLP, pretraining transformer models like BERT years before ChatGPT made them mainstream, then over seven years grew into a generalist who takes on whatever data science or ML problem a team brings — classical ML, data engineering, and GenAI/LLM systems. The job is still the same: turn an unclear business problem into something people can use and trust. For the past five years I've been the only data scientist across a go-to-market analytics organization, owning each system from first analysis to a deployed product. Several are read daily by senior leaders, so I build them to fail safe rather than risk a wrong number. What I build: Text-to-SQL and RAG assistants over Snowflake (~50 users including executives, on Docker/Kubernetes); LLM-as-judge pipelines over unstructured CRM text; entity resolution across a 5.6M-row account base; forecasting, churn, and propensity models; and automated executive reporting behind data-quality gates. Part-time M.S. Computer Science candidate at De La Salle University. In 2022 I received the CADS Sunrise Award as Top Data Scientist in ASEAN.
