I am a student from the University of the Philippines Diliman, taking up Bachelor of Science in Family Life and Child Development and I am currently an active member of the University of the Philippines Mathematics Club. I have been actively working in the finance committee of this organization for 3 semesters or 1 year and a half now, and my work there provided me with the experience and skills I have. A major role that I recently took on is the finance head for the national flagship event of the organization, the annual nationwide search for the little math wizard, wherein hundreds of elementary students nationwide compete for the title. As the finance head, I was tasked to manage participant registrations, verify documents, monitor payments and budget allocations, generate and organize receipts, and in the end create a comprehensive financial report of the event. The most recent role I had was a finance associate for an internal event of the same organization with tasks that are closely similar to my recent major role. These tasks are mostly done virtually, through online platforms like Google Workspace and others, which helped me to develop proficiency in using these tools. I am an exceptional candidate because my interests and passion especially lie on this line of work where I could provide administrative support. I am motivated and willing to learn and take on a job that I know I can do. I am adaptable and I can easily adjust to any situation or issue that may come my way. And as young professional, I am more determined than ever to improve my abilities and my career. I know this position will help me to do just that, and I look forward to sharing my skills and growing with you. Thank you.
