PYTHA

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented PYTHA Draftsperson to join our growing team and support an Australian-based client.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using PYTHA 3D CAD software to produce accurate technical drawings, detailed 3D models, and manufacturing documentation.

This role is particularly suited to someone with a background in joinery, cabinetry, custom furniture, shopfitting, or interior fit-outs, who can interpret design concepts and translate them into precise, production-ready drawings.

You will work closely with the Australian team to ensure all drawings meet project specifications, manufacturing requirements, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate 2D technical drawings and 3D models using PYTHA 3D CAD software.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings, production drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Interpret architectural plans, design briefs, sketches, and technical specifications.
• Create detailed drawings for cabinetry, joinery, furniture, shopfitting, and interior fit-out projects, as applicable.
• Ensure drawings include accurate dimensions, materials, hardware specifications, and construction details.
• Review and revise drawings based on client feedback and project requirements.
• Coordinate with designers, project managers, and production teams to ensure designs are practical and ready for manufacturing.
• Identify and resolve potential design or technical issues before production.
• Maintain organised drawing files, documentation, and project revisions.
• Ensure all drawings follow relevant Australian standards, specifications, and client requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven professional experience using PYTHA 3D CAD software in a drafting or design role.
• Strong proficiency in 2D drafting, 3D modelling, and technical drawing preparation.
• Experience producing detailed shop drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, technical plans, and specifications.
• Good understanding of materials, dimensions, construction methods, and manufacturing processes.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate remotely with an Australian-based team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
