Product Owner - Remote | Australian Tech Companies & Startups

About the Opportunity: 

The Outsource People (TOP) connects talented professionals in the Philippines with Australian companies building high-performing technology teams.

We're currently looking to connect with experienced Product Owners for remote opportunities with Australian SaaS companies, startups and digital businesses.

We're seeking professionals with proven experience working alongside software development teams to deliver high-quality digital products in Agile environments.

What You May Be Working On Depending on the opportunity, you may:

• Manage and prioritise product backlogs.
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Work with stakeholders to define product requirements.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, QA and Product Designers.
• Support sprint planning and Agile delivery.
• Ensure product features align with business and customer needs.
• Drive continuous product improvements.

 

What We're Looking For We're looking for candidates with:

• 3+ years of Product Owner or software product experience.
• Experience delivering SaaS, web or mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum.
• Experience managing backlogs, user stories and feature prioritisation.
• Experience working with cross-functional software teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong English communication and remote working experience.

  Bonus Experience

• Experience with Jira, ClickUp, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Figma or similar tools is an advantage.
• Experience working with Australian, US, UK or international technology companies is highly regarded.
