About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Broker Assistant to support an Australian mortgage brokerage. You will assist brokers throughout the loan application process, ensuring accurate documentation, efficient communication, and excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with loan application preparation
- Collect and review supporting documentation
- Liaise with clients, lenders, solicitors, and third parties
- Monitor loan application progress
- Maintain accurate CRM records
- Prepare compliance and loan documentation
- Schedule client appointments and follow-ups
- Provide administrative support to mortgage brokers
Requirements
- Previous experience supporting Australian mortgage brokers or financial services
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously
Nice to Have
- Understanding of the Australian mortgage and lending process
- Knowledge of lender policies and loan documentation
- Experience working with aggregators and lender portals
